Eclipse: My Love Affair with Black

It's Summer but it's never too hot for black.  My entire closet is full of nothing but beautiful, black frocks.  My closet and my curves love black!


My curves love black because it's forgiving.  It holds no bias and is absolutely beautiful on any silhouette.  Don't get me wrong, Curvy Gals can wear ANYTHING but there is something about black that always catches my eye.  I might even say that it's my favorite color!!


I adore wearing multiple layers of black.  Mixing prints and textures gives your look depth and complexity.  Don't be afraid to mix your black pieces, this isn't the 90's  I will say this - make sure your black isn't ashy!  That rule will always apply!!  The best way to make sure your black stays popping is to have it dry cleaned! 


Black has a unique way of making your neons and prints pop!!   You can never go wrong with a beautifully-made black garment and a popping pair of heels or accessories.  What's not to love? 


Fashion is all about taking risks but it's also about reinventing the wheel!  Pull out that Little Black Dress and pair her with something funky!  I guarantee you she'll love you for it!
