Comic Crazy: Channeling My Inner Harley Quinn
Anyone who really knows me, knows that I LOVE comic book heroes! Since Halloween is right around the corner, I thought what better time to channel one of my favorite comic book characters - Harley Quinn. Mind you, this isn't her signature look (bootie shorts, crop top, and a Louisville Slugger) but the color scheme and print on print is definitely all Harley.
I absolutely fell in love with this Harley Quinn mini backpack I found at a video game store. Who would have thought I would walk out with such a dope bag by DC Comics? I knew my entire look would be centered around this bag and, whatever it was, had to be super fierce, funky, and fresh!
I've always been a quirky dresser. I love the idea of pairing prints with prints. While the black, red, and white color scheme is nothing new, I wanted to ensure that I brought it up a notch.
This checkered and tribal print pairing was absolutely perfect! It brought just the right amount of funk to my look without overpowering my bag. I don't know about you, but I'm having a rough time with the weather this Fall! I have to wake up and check the weather every day. This time of year is supposed to be about oversized sweaters, leggings, and booties. I'm not going to complain though because I got to wear this awesome look on a normally breezy, cool day.
These oval shades from Forever 21 are to die for!!! Mirror tinted shades are totally in right now!! If you don't have a pair, run out and get some now!! I kept the rest of my jewels simple but had to have a popping lip! This color is Heroine in matte by MAC. I'm not afraid to say that I'm a MAC junky. I am no MUA but I do love a good lippie!!
My shoe game is toned down as well. I decided to pair this look with an all black pair of leather Nine West pumps! They are comfortable but still very sexy!

So many curvy women are afraid to wear anything with a print on it. I'm here to tell you that this look is for EVERYONE! Don't let a little print scare you!! Play around with them and be confident in your choices! I promise your look will turn heads and narrow eyes!
