Pretty in Pink

I always enjoy putting new spins on classic looks.  This look is a mixture of 50's sock hop and 80's b-girl.  You'd be surprised how well styles from different eras mix.  You just have to be brave enough to try Curvy Gal!!

 I fell in love with pink and leopard print a while back.  This summer/early fall season is all about mixing neon hues and funky prints.  Pink and leopard were always a fav of mine.  My pink, A-line skirt just jumped out at me from the racks of Forever 21 and these Anne Michelle slide-ins were mine as soon as I spotted them!!  Anne Michelle is one of those shoe brands that is always fresh and inexpensive. 

 I featured this Tillys crop top in my last blog in white.  Go check out the previous blog for details on my top!!  I absolutely adore it in both colors.  For this look, I'm rocking the black with a chunky, gold chain necklace and large hoop earrings!





I don't know about you but I love to twirl in a beautiful A-line skirt!!  There is just something about the free flowing freedom of this skirt that I love.  To add, this cut is very flattering on curvy figures!!  It allows for a cinched, snatched waist and helps draw attention away from the mid section even though I love to show a little belly!
