In Love with Linen

Hello there!  It's a beautiful, sunny Sunday on my side of the world!!  It's still hot!!  This heat and humidity is unrelenting which is why my linen pants and crop top are here to keep me crazy, sexy, cool!

 

 

I must say that I was a little skeptical about this wide leg, linen pant from Old Navy.  They were on sale and an absolute steal!  Of course I had to get them altered to perfection but, once they were on me, I was glad I purchased them!  The stripe detail, straw string waist, and lightweight linen fabric are perfect for hot days like these!!

I paired my linen pants with a simple, white mock turtleneck crop top from Tillys.  Tillys is a new found love of mine!  I never thought I could find anything from Tillys that would fit, let alone flatter my curvy figure.  To my surprise, I absolutely adore this crop top!  I bought one in black too.  They have plenty of more colors to pair with some of your favorite pieces! I bought mine in store and they are currently on sale!  

There is nothing I love more than a multi-purpose bag wrapped in a scarf!  This beauty was a gift from my lovely sister (thanks Sissy!!) and is from H&M.  The burnt orange hue and faux croc material added just the right pop of color I needed to take this look to the edge!

Not only do I love thrift shopping, I also love to find and repurpose items!  The pieces on my necklace are actually scarf jewelry but I chose to string them on this silver, beaded necklace instead.  I have plenty more were these came from!!  Tip: Purchase thrift items that you know you can repurpose and reuse in different ways!!  Your purchase will be well worth the money even if you don't spend much!!
